These are a few options guests may want to consider. Downtown hotels are closest to the reception pier, while the Cedar Point Drive and Route 250 hotels are an easy drive to both the ceremony and reception.

Best for guests who want to stay downtown and be close to the reception, DORA district, restaurants, and nightlife.
A renovated historic home in downtown Sandusky with eight fully equipped rental units. Each unit has a private entrance, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen/dining area.
Best for guests who want more of a boutique rental feel, extra space, and a walkable downtown location.

We do not currently have a reserved room block. Guests are welcome to choose whichever hotel works best for their plans and budget.
Because July is a busy time in Sandusky, we recommend booking early if you plan to stay overnight.
If you want to be closest to the reception and downtown Sandusky, we recommend looking at Hotel Kilbourne or The Washington first.
If you are traveling with kids or making a full weekend out of the trip, Castaway Bay, Holiday Inn Express, Fairfield, or Baymont may be a better fit.
Most hotels listed are a short drive to both St. Mary’s Church and Jackson Street Pier. Guests should plan extra time for summer weekend traffic, parking, and getting settled before boarding the boat.
Rideshare options such as Uber or Lyft may be available, but guests should not rely on them as the only transportation plan. Driving or coordinating rides with family and friends is recommended.
